I was a bit reflective tonight, thinking about my life and how very blessed I am.  I have 16, yes, 16(!) beautiful, smart, witty and kind grandchildren.  I don't get to spend as much time as I would like with them all, but they are solidified in my heart.  They are a bit part of my purpose.

Is there really such a thing as your purpose for life?  I believe so, with all my heart.  I believe I was placed here for a particular reason; something for me to accomplish and I move everyday toward that reality.

What about you?  Do you have any idea what your purpose is?  Do you even believe you have a purpose?  If you do, what is it?  And how are you moving toward fulfilling it?

I remember when I started pursuing my purpose.  I had so many different things rolling around in my head, until it was hard for me to settle in on one thing.  I finally decided on "leading others to their highest life".  Although it sounds a bit vague, it is my life goal.  When I think back on how far I've come, using the determination and desire to live, really live and not just exist, I am ecstatic!  I am so grateful for how much my life has improved and I am driven to help others do the same.  How that plays out may take many different forms, but my purpose is clear - lead others to their highest life.

As this year ends, take some time to truly reflect on this.  What do you love to do?  What fills you with passion and gusto?  What is that thing, that if money was no object, you would do to help the world?  That thing may very well be your purpose.  Move toward fulfilling this passions; think outside of the box, dream big dreams and make your purpose a reality.

If you want to learn more about how to discover and live out your purpose, read this book by my mentor, Trista Sue Kragh - Figure It Out.  It helped me and I know it will help you, too.

You can do this - I believe in you!
